Membership

The readers fund the magazine. No one else does.

We take no advertising and no sponsored content. Every member tier reads the same magazine; the higher tiers exist for readers who want to underwrite more of it. Contributors to the magazine are paid from these memberships, at published rates, and they keep their copyright.

Membership is openMembership opened October 1, 2026. Paying now funds the magazine and enrols you from today.

Contribute moreAny member can add a contribution at any time, up to $500 each time, on top of whatever tier they hold. It goes where membership money goes: paying the people who write for the magazine, commissioning reporting, and keeping the magazine viable without advertising or sponsored content. .

The Regenerative Citizen is published by Earthonomy LLC, a for-profit company. Memberships are subscriptions to a publication of that company and additional contributions are payments to it. Neither is a charitable donation and neither is tax-deductible. A contribution buys no additional access, no vote, and no influence over what the magazine publishes; the editorial charter governs that, and money does not. Citizen is billed annually. Cancel monthly and annual plans at any time. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
